This cake originates from Germany and is named after the cherry liqueur that is added to the filling. Our version of the cake is a bit different, but still contains all the essential elements: a cocoa sponge, a delicious whipping cream and mascarpone filling and a sour cherry layer. In addition to the whipping cream and mascarpone cheese, the fluffy filling also contains condensed milk.
Breathtaking! This cake is not only stunning to look at, but also mind-blowing in terms of flavor. It is worth every minute of effort and preparation. Everyone was skeptical about the combination of mango and raspberry, but we knew that the result would be amazing.
An eternal classic for all chocolate lovers! The combination of creamy, light chocolate sponge and apricot jam is a real winner. The sponge is moist enough as it is, however, layering the slightly warm sponge and warm jam is what brings it to the next level. The chocolate glaze brings the flavors together and the cake also pairs well with a spoonful of whipped cream.
You could call this the chocolate version of the Schwarzwald cake. It consists of a cocoa sponge, a sour cherry layer and a mild, fluffy dark chocolate filling. The cherry on top (no pun intended) is the sour cherry liqueur in the sour cherry core, the liqueur is also added to the cocoa used to moisten the sponge. If the cake will also be enjoyed by children or you simply dislike the liqueur, substitute it with amarena cherry syrup – it can also be omitted, the cake will still be delicious
The vanilla-strawberry combination is always a winner. The cake consists of two layers of vanilla sponge, an amazing vanilla filling and a sweet strawberry layer. Again, we used vanilla paste instead of a vanilla pod; the paste gives the filling a rich scent and aroma.
